Haley and Kevin, like many engaged couples, had planned their wedding for many months. They planned on having a big celebration with all their friends and family there to support them and party with them. They had planned on a fun, outdoor ceremony in downtown Chattanooga with a reception full of good food, dancing, and spending time with the people they love. When they found out that big gatherings would have to be postponed due to Covid-19, they decided to still go ahead with their wedding and just have their big celebration on their anniversary.
And it was honestly one of the sweetest weddings I’ve gotten to witness. Haley and Kevin got ready in the Bode Hotel before having their first look across the street outside. They said their vows at Gallery 1401 in front of their parents and siblings as other guests watched live on Zoom. Their officiant married them from her own home using Zoom, which made for some unexpected moments and giggles. You could just feel the love in the room, and it was a joy to witness. They had a sweet toast and cake cutting, followed by delicious food from Aleia’s and a first dance from the happy couple.
Here are some photos from their beautiful day. I can’t wait to celebrate their anniversary next year!
