Fall Wedding at Scarritt Bennett Chapel and Richland Country Club Nashville

November 4, 2025

Caroline and Connor’s November wedding struck the perfect balance between sophistication and ease. Their Scarritt Bennett Chapel ceremony and Richland Country Club Nashville reception came together beautifully, perfectly reflecting their classic style.

The day began in one of my favorite spots in Nashville, Scarritt Bennett Chapel. This venue is a dream to photograph, with its gothic architecture, soft natural light, and peaceful atmosphere. Caroline and her bridesmaids got ready in one of the beautiful rooms at Scarritt Bennett, surrounded by loved ones and a quiet sense of excitement.

Caroline looked absolutely radiant in her gown, an elegant off-the-shoulder dress crafted from smooth satin. The fitted bodice and voluminous puff sleeves, accented with statement bows, made the look feel both modern and refined. Her long, sheer veil trailed gracefully, while her bouquet of white blooms and greenery pulled the whole look together.

Connor wore a white jacket paired with black pants, a clean, sharp look that perfectly complemented Caroline’s style.

Before the ceremony, Caroline and Connor shared a first look outside under the iconic archway of Scarritt Bennett. The stonework and autumn light created a romantic backdrop. You could see the nerves fade instantly when they saw one another; their smiles said it all.

We took advantage of the chapel’s beautiful grounds for portraits before the ceremony, and the setting was perfect. Between the rich textures of the architecture and the late autumn glow, every corner of Scarritt Bennett seemed to tell part of their story. Their wedding party joined in soon after, bringing laughter and warmth to the portraits. It’s one of the reasons I love photographing here; the space feels both grand and intimate at the same time.

The couple exchanged vows in Wightman Chapel, one of Scarritt Bennett’s most beautiful spaces. It’s one of Nashville’s most breathtaking ceremony spaces, with gothic cathedral-style interiors, intricate woodwork, and tall stained-glass windows that pour in the most beautiful natural light. Honestly, the space doesn’t need any extra décor; it’s already stunning on its own.

As music filled the chapel and guests rose to their feet, Caroline walked down the aisle, beaming at Connor waiting at the altar. The ceremony felt genuine and personal, reflecting Caroline and Connor’s love and commitment.

After the ceremony, Caroline and Connor climbed aboard a party trolley with their wedding party, making their way to the Richland Country Club Nashville. The energy was contagious, music playing, drinks in hand, and everyone singing along as they cruised through the city.

When we arrived at Richland Country Club, the room glowed with an elegant reception setup. White flowers and greenery adorned every table, creating a soft, romantic atmosphere that tied in beautifully with the day’s look.

As guests found their seats, Caroline and Connor made their grand entrance and went straight into their first dance, a perfect, effortless moment. The evening flowed naturally from there, heartfelt toasts and laughter filling the room. Their wedding cake was a beautiful, classic white design, while Connor’s groom’s cake gave a fun nod to his love for the University of Tennessee, a playful detail that everyone loved.

Once dinner wrapped up, the dance floor opened, and the party really began. Guests grabbed light-up foam sticks, and the DJ turned up the energy. It was one of those nights where no one wanted to leave the dance floor.

As the night drew to a close, Caroline and Connor shared one last private dance, just the two of them, the lights low, the room quiet. It was a beautiful, intimate moment to soak in everything that had just unfolded.

Outside, guests lined up with bubbles in hand, cheering as Caroline and Connor made their grand exit. The bubbles floated through the air, catching the light as the couple walked through, hand in hand, smiling from ear to ear. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.

Caroline and Connor’s Scarritt Bennett Chapel ceremony and Richland Country Club Nashville reception were everything you could hope for in a classic fall wedding. Their family and friends had the best time celebrating these newlyweds.
