A Closer Look at Gaylord Springs Golf Links
Located at 18 Springhouse Lane in Nashville, Tennessee, Gaylord Springs Golf Links sits along the Cumberland River, surrounded by rolling fairways, mature trees, and beautiful landscaping. Although you’re only a short drive from downtown Nashville, the property feels tucked away from the city’s busier parts.

The golf course provides a beautiful setting, but the clubhouse really surprised me when I photographed a wedding here. As you enter, you’re greeted by a grand staircase leading to the upstairs reception space. The large room features beautiful windows that let in plenty of natural light, along with large trees incorporated into the interior design. This unique feature creates a stunning backdrop for a wedding reception.
The venue is also conveniently located near Gaylord Opryland Resort, making it a great option for couples with out-of-town guests. Nashville International Airport (BNA) is the closest airport, approximately a 15-minute drive away, depending on traffic.
Gaylord Springs Wedding Ceremony and Reception Options

One of my favorite things about Gaylord Springs is how well the ceremony and reception spaces work together.
For outdoor ceremonies, the venue offers a covered pavilion overlooking the golf course. You still get the beautiful outdoor atmosphere and surrounding views, but with the added benefit of a roof overhead. As a photographer, I especially appreciate that both the ceremony pavilion and cocktail hour patio are covered. It’s a huge advantage when planning a wedding in Tennessee, where the weather doesn’t always cooperate!

The spacious patio is also a wonderful spot for cocktail hour, giving guests a chance to enjoy the scenery before heading inside for the reception.

For receptions, the upstairs clubhouse offers a spacious, elegant setting that can be transformed to fit just about any wedding style. Whether you love soft, romantic colors or a bold, colorful palette, the space provides a beautiful blank slate to bring your vision to life. From the table settings and floral arrangements to the overall design, there are so many ways to make the reception feel uniquely yours.
Why I Love Photographing Weddings at Gaylord Springs

One of the things I love most about photographing weddings at the Gaylord Springs is the variety of beautiful portrait backdrops, all without having to leave the property.
The golf course provides plenty of open space and greenery, while the fountains and pond offer different backdrops for couple portraits. I love that couples can have a variety of wedding photos without spending time traveling between locations.
What stood out most was the indoor reception space. The natural light through the large windows makes a big difference for photography, and the trees inside add something you don’t typically see at a wedding venue.
I also love having covered spaces for the ceremony and cocktail hour. While no one hopes for rain on their wedding day, it’s reassuring to know those parts of the celebration can still take place outdoors under cover.
What to Know Before Booking Your Gaylord Springs Wedding
How Many Guests Can Gaylord Springs Accommodate?

If you’re dreaming of an outdoor wedding ceremony beneath the covered pavilion, Gaylord Springs can accommodate up to 225 guests. For couples planning a larger celebration, the venue also offers additional event spaces that can accommodate up to 500 guests, depending on the setup.
Does Gaylord Springs Offer Catering?

Yes! Gaylord Springs is associated with Gaylord Opryland Resort and shares its culinary and banquet team. This gives couples access to professional catering and event services when planning their reception.
I recommend asking about menu options, bar packages, and what’s included in their wedding catering services. It’s always great when a wedding venue has on-site catering because that’s one less vendor that you have to find and hire!
Are There Hotels Nearby for Wedding Guests?
Absolutely! One of the biggest advantages of this venue is its location near Nashville’s Opryland area.
Gaylord Opryland Resort is a convenient option for wedding guests, and several other hotels are nearby. Guests can stay close to the celebration while still having easy access to Nashville’s restaurants, entertainment, and attractions.
How Can Couples Schedule a Venue Tour?
I always recommend touring a wedding venue before booking, especially somewhere like Gaylord Springs, where the website doesn’t have much information.
Couples can visit the Gaylord Springs Golf Links website to inquire about weddings, availability, and scheduling a tour.
How Much Does a Gaylord Springs Wedding Cost?

Wedding pricing at Gaylord Springs isn’t publicly listed, so the best way to get an accurate estimate is to contact the venue directly for a personalized quote.
Your total cost will depend on your guest count, wedding date, event spaces, catering selections, and other details.
When requesting pricing, I’d recommend asking what’s included in the venue rental, whether there are separate ceremony fees, and how catering, bar service, tables, chairs, and linens are handled. Having those details upfront will help you compare your options and plan your budget.
Is Gaylord Springs the Right Nashville Wedding Venue for You?

If you’re looking for a Nashville wedding venue with beautiful outdoor scenery and an elegant indoor reception space, Gaylord Springs is definitely worth considering.
I especially love this venue for couples who want the natural beauty of a golf course setting without sacrificing indoor reception comfort. The covered ceremony and cocktail hour spaces are another wonderful feature, especially if an outdoor celebration matters to you.
And while the venue feels removed from the busyness of downtown Nashville, it’s still convenient for guests traveling into town.
If you haven’t considered a golf course for your wedding, Gaylord Springs might surprise you!
